Christmas at Isle of Eriska
The Isle of Eriska is a haven of peace and tranquillity situated at the mouth of Loch Creran and on the eastern side of Loch Linnhe. It is a perfect place to spend Christmas, have all the stress taken away and have everything taken care of for you.
Check in on the 24th December and once you are settled into your room a cream tea will be waiting for you in the Lounge. Then you have the chance to explore our extensive island and review what outdoor activities we have on offer that might tempt you over the next three days. Or if you enjoy being indoors why not curl up by one of our three roaring fires with a good book. In the evening, an official welcoming drinks reception will be followed by mouth-watering dinner and a selection of board games concluding the evening.
After a good night’s sleep and a visit from Santa you will feast on a traditional Scottish breakfast and Champagne. While we invite you to relax and enjoy the remainder of your morning, perhaps a stroll around the island or phone calls to friends and family, we will be busy preparing a hearty Christmas Lunch to be served throughout the afternoon at your chosen booked time. In the evening, a wonderful Christmas night buffet will be served, just in case you need a little something to see you through the wee small hours.
Boxing day has a relaxing start to the day, however activities will soon commence! A treasure hunt has been designed for the late morning, with clay pigeon shooting to follow. Afternoon tea, mulled wine and mince pies will keep you going until it’s time for the evening Champagne Reception, followed by a Formal Dinner and an Eriska quiz night to finish..
On the morning of the 27th breakfast will be served, and it will be time to say fond goodbyes until your next visit.

To secure a room or suite at Isle of Eriska we ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit upon reservation with final 50% non-refundable payment made by 31st October 2023. Please note that our cancellation policy is 60 days prior to arrival, should you wish to amend of cancel your reservation prior this time you will forfeit deposit made up to this point. Reservations cancelled within 60 days of arrival are liable to be charged the full cost of the stay. It is advisable that you should cover yourself with travel indemnity.
Rates quoted are all per room and are inclusive of all meals and activities within the three-night package outlined above and VAT
Hogmanay

Check in on the 30th December and once you are settled into your room a cream tea and mulled wine will be waiting for you. Then you have the chance to explore our extensive island and review what outdoor activities we have on offer that might tempt you over the next three days. Or if you enjoy being indoors our indoor heated swimming pool is a wonderful place to while away an hour or two, or why not curl up by one of our three roaring fires with a good book. There will be a Champagne Reception in the evening to welcome you all, followed by dinner.
Wake up on Hogmanay and enjoy your last breakfast of the year, perhaps a stroll around the island, a game of croquet, or a visit to the Spa with a light lunch in between before clay pigeon shooting to while away the afternoon, until it’s time to get ready for the formal champagne reception and gala dinner followed by a small dance to our local ceilidh band to bring the year to a close. At Midnight fireworks with signal in the arrival of a New Year!
New Year’s Day has a relaxing start to the day with a buck’s fizz brunch, however the activities will soon commence! A treasure hunt has been designed for the afternoon and a cream tea will keep you going until it’s time for evening dinner.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner, before breakfast the following morning when we say our fond goodbyes until your next visit.
